Contest goal:
Tinted glass, gelatin or plastic discs, squares or rectangles that modify the light passing through them. Filters are used in photography to change the appearance of a scene by emphasizing, eliminating or changing color or density, generally so that the scene can be recorded with a more natural look, on a particular film. In this contest, your goal is to show a photo that use manipulated by such a filter. Post-manipulation is not allowed, your photo has to be taken with a physical filter.

gotmeamuse: I shoot with a Pentax K2000 that has an array of digital filters included, are these type of filters allowed for this contest? ( 5 years and 3389 days ago )

jawshoewhah: I think I'll just stick with the usual photography rules. Amuse: There is actually a lot of tricks and adjustments allowed in photo contests. It might even surprise you.

Contest Moderator: You can place any colored plastic over the lens to get this effect. Camera filters are welcomed but if you do not have access to them this will work too! ( 5 years and 3388 days ago )
