Removed railroad tracks from my source using Photoshop. Used this picture as an environment map for my scene.

Made grass by making a triangular shaped spline and using the scatter modifier distributed over a plane that was shaped using the soft selection of vertices.

Scene lit using 3 free direct lights, each one specific to a shape and diffuse/specular color.
