Contest goal:

Download the following base model in OBJ format (so without textures): Conference chair

Use this base model to create your own chair(s) with. Hard or soft, classic or modern, contoured or minimalist. It can be a chair of nails, or a "water" chair, so long as it looks like something that could be sat in. Pre-built meshes are allowed.

Contest Moderator: Legendster, you can modify it anyway you want, as long as you show HOW you modified it in your SBS. In other words, it doesn't matter what you end up with, as long as you started your model with the chair provided

mircea: DON'T USE PREBUILT MESHES. apparently using prebuild meshes even when the contest specifies that u can use them it;s not ok ( 5 years and 2869 days ago )

Contest Moderator: The rules clearly state, that prebuilt meshes ARE allowed but NOT in your main model.

8.7.: Pre Built Meshes: Pre built meshes are allowed to be used in scenes. The main model, or the given contest theme has to be modeled by you. Example - If the given theme is a castle, then you MUST build the castle yourself. But you can use pre built meshes for the trees, plants, birds, characters etc. All credits MUST be given to the author of the mesh, and a link provided to the stock mesh used.

Therefore, if you integrate a prebuilt mesh into your MAIN model it falls outside the rules and IS NOT allowed. ( 5 years and 2869 days ago )
