These are the steps that I made the head, from some pieces of the street behind the mailbox and a rusty box. The eye on the forehead was drawn by pen and brush tool

Use one mailbox, double, rotate and blend to itself. I will use this method several time to create different parts of the robot

Make the finger from the one I created last step. Use burn, dodge tools and clipping mask to change the lighting, shadow

Use the yellow piece from the mailbox that I extracted from the 1st step, duplicate and rotate 15 degree, use action tool to repeat that until I have a full round shape

I used the white mailbox, duplicate, blend to itself, use that image to make the bottom part of the robot

Extract him, put onto the scene. Use puppet wrap to change the position of his hands and arms to fit the image that I want to create.
Use pen tool to select an area covering his body, duplicate the selection and manipulate it to the tight shirt (change color, darkness, shadow, ect.). Make some shadow under the "shirt" to make it be more convincing
