I created a backgound composition with the help of my two external sources.

I changed some blending options, added a layer mask with gradient for a contrast and lights.
step 3 of 5
I cut out the sea star and brought it with the background and on the same level. Then I made some shadows.

I made a chimney with help of the arm from source, added a door and put some light reflections on the grass.
step 5 of 5
In the last step I created my own smoke brush and added last details.
