Stared with the gold fishes.
Started with one, cut out the background and fixed the edges with the eraser tool.

Then I made the fish smaller, added a shadow and decreased the colour a little so it looks like it's inside the bowl.

Then I added the fishes into the bowl. I fliped the images, turned them so they would all be in a different position.

The boat.
Took the original image and cut out the background and some small details of the boat.

Then I made it smaller and added it into the bowl. Then erased the rest of the background to fit the waterline in the bowl.

Then I changed the colour of the water by copying the area of water in the bowl into a separate layer, changed the colour with the colour tool and then erased the edges so it would fit the bowl.
