Carefully trace flower with pen tool.

command + click if you have mac, or right click for pc, on pen line and select "make selection"

For color change go to image>adjustments> Variations. The add yellow, green, red, until the color you want appears. In this case a light brown.

The shriveling of the flower. You need the shriveled up color. Use the burn tool, with a low intensity (11%) then go along the flower and darken it. Then for the shape go to Filter>Liquify. Then use the Forward Warp tool. Push along the outling of the flower to get the desired shape.

Erase all of the seed stems but one. Use the magic wand to select it. And use the burn tool to discolor it.
