Started with the background and tree and added some shadow to create a bit of depth

After that added the number plate as a house number. using warp to make it blend in the tree a bit.

After that i added the platform. Using the pen tool to extract the platform out of the original image and using perpective transform and shadow to add it to the treehouse image

Next thing was adding a door for the platform.
Using some small shading and bevel/emboss to add it into the tree.

After that a new door needed to be added with a stair to get out of the house. Not very happy about the red dor so played a bit with th coloring using color overlay and blending options.

Finally added a little path of the stairs, some shading and removed one of the doors since I found this final whole in the tree also looking good!
