A Work in Progress: back from office

step 1 of 4

drew out an outline for the walls, filled it up and made the hat stand and the switch board...all using rectangles, lines and fill colors and stroke

step 2 of 4

added a few more editings to the wall colors,

made the fan, then made the sofa using pen tool, placed a rectangle remote on it,

drew the main door outline whipped up the man..two spheres for head and body, , simple hat and glasses and rounded rectangle for legs !

step 3 of 4

now, made the TV..again only rectangles everywhere,

then added the required balls , inserted the light buld (its a default custom shape in photoshop)

step 4 of 4

now, added the last door, yet again rectangles and the circle tool.

Now, inserted the photoframes just to add some "homely" effect ! the photoframes were made using rectangles, filter->fibre effect, duplication, gradients and bevel
