This is better than a lot tut's I see for portrait retouching. The detail in each step is very comprehensable and well written. I do, however, feel that it is an unfinished portrait. A professional retoucher would smooth the skin more and remove the skin folds in the neck, lighten the dark areas in the hair and behind the neck, and add a slight vingette to make the subject pop. There are many things I could tell you but there is not enough room here.
