(done by using the dodge and burn tool over black & grey with a bamboo tablet)

On a white background I made a big black blob. On top of the black blob I made a grey blob in the general shape of the face. Once the grey was down I used the dodge tool to lighten areas and the burn tool to darken areas. No lines, just shading using the dodge & burn tools. No mouse, just a bamboo tablet pen thingy. Hi , nice work , it could use more contrast in the color values, for better definition but for the tools you used pretty good I think.
