TRADITIONAL DRAWING: Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to form an image. In this contest, your goal is to draw something of your choice using the pointillism technique. You may use water colors to achieve it or just pencils, as long as your drawing is entirely made of dots. Good luck!

This was done with a 005 Micron pen over a light pencil sketch and quite a few hours. The pencil was erased early in the process. Yoyu may have to view high res to see the dots(yes they are there :) No references were used. (5 years and 3237 days ago)

All work done using a pencil and a .5 ball pen and offcourse eraser for erasing those pencil lines.......okay jokes apart

total working time : 9-10 hours
(as I used this technique first time it took a lot of time)

at first I thought that this is pretty old technique and it will be waste of time. But once I started drawing and started getting results then I came to know about the beauty of pointillism. And I must admit the time I spend in creating this image is really worth it. (5 years and 3236 days ago)
