E Green - Drawing Contest [11 entries]
Contest goal:
DIGITAL DRAWING: In this contest, your goal is to make a logo for a new fictitious chain of electric stores. The name of these stores is "E-Green". There's some limitations for you to consider.
1. the logo needs to be useable on the stationary, the shopwindows and so on. So background colors are OK but they have to be part of the logo.
2. Besides "E-Green" you can add another catchy phrase like "the store for you". This is up to you, but if you add some text make it short and catchy.
3. Because "E-Green" sells electronics which are better for the environment they want the colour green to be part of the logo.
4. A small reference to the environment aspect of the product in the logo is allowed but not required. "E-Green" considers this to be a normal aspect of modern day life and doesn't want to stand out comparing to other stores on this aspect, the desired colour green should be enough.
5. No premade shapes and fonts, "E-Green" wants to have something unique like a handwritten font.
>>> As a bonus you can add some extra steps in the SBS to present your logo (besides the required normal steps!). You can for instance show how your logo will look on a shopwindow. For this it is allowed to use external free sources (don't forget to mention them!) AND you may use ALL of PS tools to do so, but remember: this is extra, not required and only in the SBS!

yea.. you know I created this at 3 am in the night.. and just before closing the site I noticed the point no. 5.. I'm already on it and would edit it today.. and according to you erikuri, I can leave the font..? actually its mentioned that no premade font or shape.. what do you reckon?

Anything pre-made is not usable, by the description of contest. Font or Leaf.
So... I suppose the only thing to do is... using pen tool and creativity and do the letters yourself! - that's what I'm trying to do...

Really like the edit, the idea is very clever!! I really like the use of negative space to create an object.
