A unique entry, with a creatuve use of sources, however the rug seems to have just a bit too much shadow of the bottom right and looks like is levetating off the ground. The boots may be just a hint too much as well but that's more opinion than anything. Reply »

Went with your shadow tip........Jaws, Thanks for the tip and compliments people.
Update: shadowed the one side of the magazine and added a little glow to the candle thanks for the great tip closedeyes. Reply »
Oh yeah, it looks a lot better now, maybe stil a wee bit on the left side but you can see now how all that extra shadow just kind of gives it tehe illusion that it's hovering? Trust me, we probably all make that same mistake our first few shadow chops Reply »
bet tht shoes does'nt belong to teddy author... nice colours... li'l nitpicking: book cover away from the lamp where the teddy has got dark shades can get little shades... little glow around the candle can make it more lively... like the touch of snow on shoes.... over all its really good image...Reply »
Nicely put together. Indeed, there are some perspective problems. You could reduce them with warping & carefully liquifying the top part of the light house so it will fit better with the birdhouse (the perspective from the birdhouse as part of the background is not impossible, who knows maybe it's some tower of Pisa ). And I might have made the lightblue darker so you get more an idea of a nightscene. Good luck! Reply »
Really nice atmosphere, but maybe you could reduce the saturation of the background just a bit and make it a little darker just so that focus goes to the gargoyle in the foreground. Good job Reply »

Thanks everyone for the compliments, and thanks for the suggestion Pixel, for the foam around the face of the crab,I went ahead and added that, as for your question Wazowski...I did use a reference book on Hermit crabs by Sue Fox for colors and pose, although nothings even close to what she had in the book. Good idea, but i think that the image inside the cup is a bit too compressed, i also think that the ladder should be abit thicker and with straight lines. Good luck though, it's a wonderful idea.. great reflection! Reply »
