Thanks for your comment!
You may be right for the environement, but I wanted a clean background, more like studio photography...
Maybe I'll add some detail

This is a good work author, the realisim is high enough to gain a good marks.
I'm very impressed by the render quality.
but I guess (and this is the only bad thing I can say about this) that the water drops' distrebution is rather weak.
Anyway GL

author says:

Thank you. I tried, and failed, with using different scattering methods but I was running out of time and the dropplets was the last thing I did before I had to start rendering.

avatar invisible_idea

superb work author... good luck...

avatar randy
randy says:

yes the water is a bit weak. but compared to the others in this competition you have mastered ice cubes .
for water try experimenting with real-flow or a water sim, and the depth of field is superb. . maybe in later competitions you could even use fume fx . to add the element of frost. just an idea. taking it to the next level never stops . great job

Ice melting frm Glass... (5 years and 2306 days ago)

Bitmap says:

Nice work author...
I don't know if my eyes are cheating me but I think that the base of the glass is sinked in the table, and IMHO I think that the water material needs more work for the reflection.
nice concept, nice idea, and nice job ... GL
