Basemesh in 3ds max, detailed in zbrush, UVs in UVLayout, rendered in 3ds max and mental ray, post production in photoshop.

One day of work.
I cant aford to spent much time in this, so i didnt textured it and did not used any hair simulator in it. I made this in a couple of hours only. Its just modeling and rendering.

Its more of a representation of a human head and not a realistic head. Its more a statue then the real thing.

I agree... i failed when using a specular material in the eyes :P It should be one material only.

Next time with more time to spare! (more then the 2/3 hours i spent on this one :P i hope!) (5 years and 3402 days ago)

Nice. The texturing (though you say you didn't texture it?) and the details on the lower half of the face looks great! But there's some things that makes it appear unfinished:

The white artifacts in the eyes looks like it has some rendering error, especially in Hi-res. It may be due to too high specularity without AA or reflection. Should be easy to fix though.

And what's that on his head? It doesn't look like hair. You could experiment with some fur plugin or at least change the color.

This looks pretty good, especially the details in the face. The "hair" reminds me of those old Ken dolls that had molded hair instead of rooted hair like Barbie had.

Nope, hair seems to me OK, is normal for a statue. Problem is with eyes. First, look flatten, a problem of specularity or light, second, dont match with the statue idea of hair. And to dont forget: excellent modelling
