I used to use blender! Your model is a real cutey. Nice job.
I must admit that Blender 3D rules!
I've worked with Lightwave 3D in the past, I started with 3DSMax which was not so user friendly at first. I also got around Softimage a bit, but Lightwave was my favorite. Then I discovered Blender, which get a really good render engine right now (the best is, that it's a open-source software... Great!)
