The sides are completely flat. You can clearly see that on the surfaces like this. The glossiness cuts off directly at sharp edges, making it less realistic. If Cinema 4D has some rounding tool that can smooth the edges (by adding more polygons), it could look really good. Small amounts of bump is of course always useful. Good luck
