HDR Photography Using a Single Image

HDR photography uses 3 or more bracketed photos. For action shots, it is not possible to get bracketed photos and for a casual photographer doing bracketed photography is usually burdensome or not understood.

This tutorial shows you how to do tone mapping with a single photo using Luminance HDR and the Gimp to do some final retouching.
