(5 years and 3855 days ago)Even though the forms are simple you've captured the subtle organic quality of the plum. Attention to the subtle shading is very good! My only critique is that it seems to be balancing on the small end rather than resting on the surface, unless that was the look you wanted. That doesn't change my appreciation for your entry.

(5 years and 3856 days ago)I think you should remove the shadow completely. Highly reflective surfaces that show reflections don't show strong shadows like that. The reflection alone will ground the subject and it would look much cleaner that way.
(5 years and 3856 days ago)It's not unusual to have an idea similar to another entry as long as it's your own concept and you don't rip off another entry. A defeatist attitude won't help you to win anything just do your best and let the votes decide.
