yeah isn't -philia love for something and -phobia when you dislike something? oh author, try to find the cracks on the bark and then mask out the tace. right now it kinda looks like you put a trasnparent foil over the original tree, if you know what i mean.

technically you are right waz, should be dendrophobia but a few sources have these terms confused I think!

wazowski: I just googled it and got fear of trees off dictionary.com. I sometimes question Wiki as far as accurate information. This is a good blend and adjustment for shadows. Good Luck author.

One of the very first things that I ever tried to do in Photoshop was something like this. But I knew absolutely nothing so it did not come out like this at all! I think that all I did was adjust the opacity and a blending change! I think that you've done a great job.

I really like it, but i think it would be more effective if you used a real image of a person, that way it wouldn't look so flat. Maybe try dodging around the sides of the silhouette.
