the edge of the lid on the right seems a little too large for the chest compared to the left side and the locket is not in the middle, you did a good job on the mood and the idea is great too. somethign different

Great concept, but I agree with tnaylor, the glow ruined it visually for me, making the chop look like a poor HDR filter affect.

The reflections are too deep. It looks like everything is sitting on a 1" deep piece of reflective glass, especially the coaster under the teapot. It shouldn't really have any reflection at all due to its proximity to the tiled counter.

Also, if the counter surface is so mirror reflective, why are the walls not reflecting anything at all?

The light source should be illuminating the top of the teapot, since it is above the pot and cups, but the top of the teapot is very hard to visually make out...

The overall composition of the components is nice, and the sugar bowl looks quite realistic.

OK overall modelling i would work on eliminating harsh lighting and shadows by using area lights

really should delete all the inner arm (on the right side) but then you'd have to shift sir studly guy over and place him in a position that makes it more like he's hugging the source .. LOL.. great job though.. detail is key.. all in IMHO

Really funny, and good work warping the statue's arms, but there are a lot of blurry edges, and the man's head is transparent...you can see the statue's ear through his hat.
