When I was a kid, my mom used to read a story from our big volume of Grimm's - that book is, unfortunately, long gone. They've all been sanitized nowadays.

I am a firm believer that one learns by applying good solid suggestions from others and practice, practice, practice. And just keep your eyes open for little distractions such as objects that takes the eyes off the main subject, straight horizons, dust spots under/under exposures and too much noise, and you will probably get many more suggestions as you go along having fun along the way.
