I like the detail in the glasses a lot, but I think that cropping out the distractions on the top and left side would have improved the composition. IMHO

I agree with CMYK46. IMO the drop shadow tool will diminish a great pic. Paint your shadows..you will have more control of where they lie and look more natural. For the hard hand edge, just make a second hand layer, Gaussian blur bottom layer, (about 30%). then take your eraser (50%) and erase only bits of the edges creating foreshortening. Same with table edge. I love Dali btw

They might have read the goal, not just the title;
Stairs lead us up, down and, in some cases, nowhere. They are the subject of hit songs (hence the title). Your challenge is to take a photo of stairs. They can be inside, outside, part of a building or house, alone and freestanding, occupied or unoccupied. Think of creative angles and try some interesting lighting to create an image that is less than ordinary. Just take that first step...

Super cool author, and excellent SBS. I would suggest to replace the Pawn in the Hand Picture with the Pawn from the contest source. (Not necessary, but it would add to the the synchronicity of the image, making all the pieces alike). GREAT JOB!

Awesome concept author! Liquify works great to create the melt effect, you can also copy the bottom part of the watch of the melted section (copy) and perspective it so that it looks like it's moving toward you and on the surface of the wood instead of just touching the surface. Tricky, but it adds to the effect. Not necessary just a suggestion. Good luck.

Light source on the hand is from upper right. Shadows should be cast accordingly. You might want to soften (feather or blur) the hard edges of the hand, too.

This is a wonderful night shot, but not really showing a lot of dark for the subject at hand.

Super fun image... you know author, the ship could be even larger. Only if you want too. I just love all the details (the strings are marvelous).
As a print, the design is fine, but if you enlarged the Ship/vehicle it would be much easier to see. Then again my eye sight is kind of wonky,hehehe.. great job. Lovely use of your own photos

No problem author, now center his horn or give him two for balance, it's annoying... I AM JUST KIDDING, it's fine just the way it is, I'm just messing with you. It reminds me of the "Cartoon Films" on PBS on late night that were "not allowed" in prime time way back in the 80's. Mainly because they were just a little off base college creations that involved Frankstien Chocolate Cake that the villagers had to eat in order to kill it. Weird. Thanks for the memory dump LOL
