Taken many a photo of glasgow uni but never at night... will have to try it now ! ... I think the photo is great as it is ... the dark leads you into the image to the tower and the lovely colours in the sky...............very nice shot.

Good theme match but your photo quality, POV, lighting and clarity are in need a great improvement. I am only guessing this was a snap shot you had and thought it would make a good entry as far as theme qualification, but photo quality still plays a big role in the shot and frame presentation in a contest. Not trying to give you a hard time, just trying to help. Keep an open mind to critique and you will go far.

In the future, try to shoot with the light behind you. As you can see you shot your subject with the sun almost right in front of you and caused that noisy effect on your subject. Although there are exceptions to every faux pas in the rules but in this case I think it would have been better with a different POV.

Please author, understand I give the constructive criticism that I would have wanted and it's never meant to offend or disrespect. I'm just trying to help you improve.
