Horribly creepy, I like it! For a better framing of the image, you could add some space at the bottom, under the hand, and maybe on the right side too, just to avoid cutting the dress.
Not so sure Z. I tried it out here and she doesn't seem to stand out as much. What do you think? I am open to either way.

I prefer the pic from the link you sent, the balance of the image is much better, the character pops up on this one. To answer your question, I'd prefer a hug than a kiss on first date 
Zizounai I took your advice and resubmitted. Added a final step in the SBS. Thanks for the suggestion. 
Both versions look good to me. The only thing that confuses me is the octopus.
Is she is eating it or it is supposed to be part of her face?
They're supposed to be tentacles shooting out of her mouth like she is some kind of monster. I didn't know how to make tentacles shooting out of someone's mouth, so I used an octopus. Maybe earthworms or something would have been better, but I did my best.
Great work! Try blending her top lip into the tentacles. I think it will look more like they're a part of her face. Good luck.

Super fun work the stretching of the bunny heads in the background causes a little of distortion confusion in my eyes, I think it's so obvious they've been distorted it takes away from the overall feel (NOT A BIG THING) that's just me...good work. The roundness of the bunny heads is charming, the stretching just looks like you forgot to hold down the shift key while resizing (IMHO of course)
Actually, intended the slim faced bunny... I take the confusion as a compliment... haha.. but yeah it got me thinking to tweak the bg a little... thanks...
