great blending and matching, im noticing some white speckles on the image, not sure why but i think ti will enhance the image without. I think they where allready on the original right?
Yes, the spots were on the original image, they were the reason I made it like a 1970's Magazine adding sepia and a light HDR filtering

Animated SBS - To explain it all would have taken longer than it did to make it, which took long enough! (5 years and 2795 days ago)
Sweet looking image! Just wish the SBS had some explanation along with the images. GL author! 
It had a LOT of color adjustment, cloning, and painting, with a bit of "sketch" layers added for detail. About 40-50 layers, all said and done.

It's meant to be somewhat "impressionist..."
Not bad, buggy seems to be missing a handle knob judging by the angle.
Actually, it's a side view of a handle that runs horizontally. There is also the slightest bit of a vertical along the left edge of the buggy basket. If you check the source photo (#1 in the list), you'll see that it's the angle of the photo.
I really like the impressionist feel, it adds to the surreal atmosphere! Very good choice of animals, love the fish!

It's so dark, it's very hard to tell what parts, or how much of the contest source you've used.
You may want to consider some judicious cropping, to make your use of the contest source more of the focal point in this image. Right now there is too much background, and too little contest source...
Also think about straightening out your horizon line. It's presently tilting down to the RH side...
The head looks too far forward on the neck. Decent idea but lack of a high res version hurts you.
