I tried to create the melting backwards since she's layed on her back but it wouldn't look good, it would be mixed with her hair and the streams would be much smaller

No they're young as the original picture, i aged only her face because it's supposed to work as an aging mask that covers her inside beauty >.

I have already tried to upload a high resolution, I always do, but for some reason it didn't work, maybe because of the small size of the image! the texture on the white face bothers me a lot... good concept, mood is okay, a bit messy and not much work done on color and lighting.

Thanks to all for the comments Surely I have disappointed those who would like to turn the evil mask into something really evil- more devil's red and black plus angry mug, even blood and guts added. Soooorry, I don't feel the things like this. Let's give even the evil a chance to be more good looking and smiling and a hope to become better. this is amazing, all your work is really whimsical. I LOVE IT!

The mood is confusing - is that a happy friendly mask drowned in the darkness for some reason or is this an evil smth doing a damn good job at pretending to be "from the other party"? :P My suggestion: maybe turn that smile back to frown, the image would be more interesting Good luck!

I think what you've done here is very nice. It creates a dark, sinister mood and the smiling of the mask just heightens that. As an image, I love it. As a submission, though, I feel that it may be a bit too simple. Don't give up, though! Maybe if you expanded on this dark theme you've created we could see something truly extraordinary! This one reminds me of evil clowns, for some reason. Maybe because it seems so happy in the darkness... Good chop!

like the fire cloud effect -- think it looks a bit flat when your eye sees the sharp edge where it ends

Nice and there is some impressive lighting too.. Fractal lava? Ok, I think you need to fill in the gap where the eye 'was' to give the mask a full back so to speak. If you follow me.. You can see it clearer in step 5. There is no need to cut the shape out for the right eye. Just continue your line down..

Good idea Although the mask looks like smashed rather than "disintegrating due to internal fire" :-P - that is because ot the unrealistically fine and undamaged edges.. If ure burning'em, burn'em good Cool sbs though
