I used Desaturate on the apple, I moved the apple over the target, adjusted size, Filter - Distort - Spherize. I used Overlay. Then I removed the extra colour that didn't fit the apple image. (5 years and 3470 days ago)

for a better composition try to place the avocado a lil more behind the fruits in front of him, right now there's too much tension because only an small part of the fruits are overlapping
