Ummm...how does he get to his boat? (Which looks a bit small...).
Light source in original pic is from left, so try to adjust the shadow...

author says:

Ok, fixed the shadow and adjusted some proportions. Better? As for getting the boat he grabs the rope and pull it to shore, or wades in after it which I wouldn't recommend in a lightning storm...

avatar erathion
erathion says:

Boat is still to small, fix this before contest is finish...and gl....

Great lighting, but i would ditch the hat, it doesn;t look like it's on his head, it looks like it's jusy hovering above it.. evrything else looks very good. High marks from me!

avatar Chuck
Chuck says:

nice...but resize his hat

avatar CMYK46
CMYK46 says:

You might want to remove the parts of the girl's jacket on his shoulders, and shrink the hat...

avatar kayaklovergirl

nice idea, good coloring

like the idea, agree with the hat comment

avatar pixelkid
pixelkid says:

Soften edges of hat and I know this is silly but unless this is supposed to be a backdrop sun scene...the face would be more shadowed...like a silhouette. Right now, there are two light sources...but if it's supposed to be a camera flash or something then...forget my babbling...

No hat would be better!

great sky choice. lovely colour. Sadly you have not cut the girls demin sleeves out of your work. If they had been removed it would have created a cleaner image. The scarf is a great touch. I like the hat. To make it look right. next time you may like to put a hat on your head and look at the angles then use the warp and liquify tools to help it look more natural.. GL

Would like this even better if you put some variation of tone in the windows instead of a flat tone for each color. Some areas brighter...some darker etc. Might help this...great job and look, author!

Great image.....I like it!

avatar ponti55
ponti55 says:

Hmm i think you need to work on your selections, they seems very rough around thje bridge, and especially around the models. There's also a spot between the woman on the left's arm and leg that hasn't been removed. Good luck!

avatar pixelkid
pixelkid says:

Don't give up on this one! Do what ponti55 suggests...it will help. I love the look of this!

avatar vladimir735

Yes, I agree with ponti. You should fix the edges of the girls, and post a high res image. Everything else is perfect. Good Luck

avatar Derivatix
Derivatix says:

nice mood, but I see a white halo in the girls pony tail. Maybe want to work on that a little more?

Great use of source, a very calm image. Good luck

avatar pixelkid
pixelkid says:

Nice image, indeed...but I think you might have missed some masking where the leg and body meet on the small alpaca.

avatar arkncheeze

Missed masking, hmmmm... I compared the contest source, the outer source and the entry... I think that is not missed masking rather the reflection of the rock of the outer source... I matched the position and shape of the reflection with the supposedly missed masking and it matches... So no missed masking... But author should clarify...

(Guess I had nothing better to do lol)...

avatar hereisanoop

great

author says:

Yeah, Addie is right...its not miss masking. Its a reflection of a rock. Chk...out the background source...pixelkid

avatar Derivatix
Derivatix says:

very nice, calm and peaceful, like it very much.

avatar nudanke
nudanke says:

Very nice! Regardless of whether or not that is a reflection, it's very distracting and would only take a few seconds to clone out. It would definitely help prevent confusion in what is otherwise a well-done manipulation.
