In my imagination I thought of a fairy that protects the little younglings...I've been also inspired by a very nice animation movie called partly cloudy. It's very nice. The rainbow was created with gradient tool, set on overlay. Not much use of the sources...but this what inspired me when I saw the image. Enjoy!

This is a very good entry author. I do think the dress shouldn't be so faded along the edges mind IMHO. 
the dress is a little blury because I thought that it would be nice to seem as it's made of veil
