Layer masked sources. Shapes made with elliptical and rectangular marquee tool then filled with color/cloud filter. The line "shape" was used. One layer of tooled line was free transformed . The fonts were warped with warp text tool and some "FX's" applied. The filter>stylize>find edges was used along with some box blur on finished composition. (5 years and 2195 days ago)

Great...finally something on theme!
Very fun. The image focuses on headgear which is a rather narrow interpretation of apparel IMO. I don't get the triple brand references to Johnnie, Oskosh, and Captains.
Quite simple Dan, Airship Johnnie sells high quality Oshkosh brand apparel including but not limited to headgear. His store is an Airship Captain's outfitter.

Excellent composition & integration of sources! Great 'old-timey' feel!! Love the 'Wisconsin Dells' reference, and this entry looks EXACTLY like what a lot of those ads look like around here. A lot of businesses have these posters up. WELL DONE!
