I thought it would be fun to see if I could make the tree seem like it was more a part of the structure behind it. So I masked it and then doubled and reversed the image to make a symmetrical, sort of owl-faced melding of the new, more metallic, stained glass, and ink lined tree become integrated into the sculpture, which I recreated parts of. A lot of filters and overlay effects helped me to enhance the saturation yet maintain a somewhat realistic quality still. And I also tried to preserve the original beauty of the already magnificent work of art as much as possible. Anyway, this is my first contest entry and I'm looking forward to having more fun here at Pxleyes. Cheers! (230 days ago)

I had to resubmit it with a step by step which didn't get uploaded the first time that I tried to resubmit. So now I have votes for both entries. Will they combined them and take one down? I'm new here. Got any idea?
