nice entry, but is seems to me that the man should cast shadow somehow.... it will give volume to your entry! but the idea is wonderful! i like it!!!
Well Androla, there's no where for his shadow to fall except on the wings and I put a gentle one there, the light is from one side and at almost a 90 degree angle (and the man is an angel so he would be floating), I placed a slight shadow below his toe there (and faded it massively to only give it a hint of existence)

i think the problem is with the guy, he looks flat, maybe you should work on the contours 
, as i really like your entry and just wish you made it even better!
