I agree, it seems far too simple, perhaps give it something interesting or eyecatching, or try to watch and read some tutorials to expand your knowledge. Good luck!
in the rules guidelines it states:: Don't submit FILTER ONLY works. You need to change the image or add something to it.
I'm assuming you made the beast after the comments were made? it's interesting effect you've created though.
