im not going for realism here. i like the wings, barb wire comes in different gauges, last time i remember. the hand probably comes from the same place that tree is growing from...im not going for realism here. this is my interpretation of the title. " art for art's sake" thanks for your comment.

I love the concept, but the snake cannot possibly coil like that without showing a tiny bit of the snake body below the armpit. Also the woman's arm isn't well blended with the rest of the image. And I don't understand the symbolism of the tree.

love this piece but also would love it if you put more time in refining it, not saying you didnt put enough time in it tho.. dont get me wrong the edge on his bracelet on the left hand (for the viewer) is too sharp and the arm from the girl seems too thin for the hand maybe also the contrast / brightness and possible the colors on that arm is off.. i would of liked the wings larger, the barb wire looks wrong (too thin maybe?) and the bottom part of the snake arround the arm needs a lil work too.. o.o; omg sounds like i dont like it at all .. but on the contrary i do like this piece but just would love to see things more blending in better.. love the high res btw

thanks for the comments and suggestions, will be tweaking the image sometime soon. the wings aren't supposed to look real... my sister used to have a pair she used to wear with her gothic outfits. about the tree, it would be a metaphor for an "erected trunk" if i am allowed to say that :P
