Sometimes it's hard to believe the power of the modern home pc and some of the software it's capable of running. Take Vray for instance, this piece of software calculates(dependant on the settings you give it) every photon or light particle that is emitted from a specific source it then calculates what happens when it hits differing surface shapes, and materials. The mathmatics involved would make your eye's bleed looking at the numbers!!! Sometimes what you see in the final render is not what you'd expect but what is percieved and calculated to be true by a computer. Reply »
