oh well the contest subject is controversial as well... won't be suprising if entry are controversial as well...

the whole contest is probably controversial because it has to do with rights. I think sparlen may have been talking to CMYK46 because he gave his opinion on the subject, not just the picture.

Not to get political, but on a technical stand point the TEXT must match shape and proportion.. OR should be center and Murder should be centered correctly in the right corner to match the balance (Murder is out of proportion to the shape of abortion).. the coloration of the eyeball has got to go, (I doubt a drag queen would ever need an abortion) an Eye of a young innocent girl would be better, the makeup ruins the whole message and makes no sense to the message.. and the fetus needs to be seen, not blended into the back ground (at first glance it looked like a crumpled hand... this is a civil rights statement and a very controversial one, but to make a poster of it, simple is more.. you did fine work.. I just think it needs to be more simple to get your point across... good LUCK!

You shouldn't have removed it down imho... Anyways if you wanna remove the entry, just red flag it and tell the mod you want it deleted...

although i agree with cmyk and golem, i also agree arkncheez....you shouldn't have taken it down. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I'm really sorry that you took it down. The theme of the contest and the theme of ANY contest is YOUR idea about the subject. The comments for this should have been focused on the technical and aesthetic qualities of the image, not the personal opinions of the commenter on the subject. I say, put it back up and to heck with people who don't think babies are humans. No offense CMYK46, but I think that you were out of line.

Your piece is nice and it is obviously your opinion and @ downoffthedragon I don't think CMYK is out of line he is entitled to comment on this piece any way he wishes just as we all are. Author it is a touchy topic and I give you credit for having the courage to address it the way you see fit.

wait a sec.. wouldn't it be better if you wrote "abortion or LIFE"? because there's basically no difference between abortion and murder right? so there's not much choice there..

Im not religious or anything but I do feel that if you go out and get pregnant then it is your duty to take care of that child but then on the other hand some women do not ask to get pregnant!!!

EDIT: Sorry i dont think i made it clear on the 'some women dont ask for it' part.... i meant as in forms of rape etc etc.. no offence, your image is powerful but to me its not deplicting 'human rights' because as rights we as a person decide.

thats true but they can give it to someone who cant get pregnant. edit i would hope if that happened to me i could see past it and give the child a life but it hasnt so truthfully i cant say what i would do your right that just may be to painful to do and i understand that she couldnt help it
