I closed cut the sphere and cloned and blended pieces to make the snakeskin. Lens flair for lighting and placed it in a separate background.

Very unique and differen.. you might want to check the perspective on the ovoid he's descending down out of.. it could be more eliptical.. though it could be my eyes.. but experiment and see .. not a big adjustment.. just seems it could be a little tighter.. the Snake is Amazing by the way
