just a thought author.. but if you upped the color/contrast on the burger to make it pop.. and then try to get rid of the orange around the cows eyes it would make the message much more powerful.. but that's a definate IMHO because this piece is just marvelously surreal (Placing the burger on a cut off stump would be a cool idea as well.. would give the message more power)

Funny! I love the expressions in the cows' eyes. Didn't see the picture pre-alterations but I do like the changes you made (and the stump definitely works). Only thing I can really critique is the burger looks VERY large compared to the cows. Might want to take it down a tad. Also, the sky seems a bit dark and gloomy. If you brighten it up it would juxtapose the shocking material (for a cow, anyway) and further the humor even more. Nice job!

very fun Idea.. but the lettering is way too distorted.. if you bring the text into the realm of readability you will have a much better piece (also the eyes are a bit floaty.. shading and bring the burger to more detail might help fix that (burger is a bit too blurred (the bun part)

also you need to blend the boots into the silhoette better( try the warp tool), and their shadow needs work...nice idea

I'd just extend the text, otherwise do what i always do and hold shift while resizing from the corners, that makes the image being resized maintain its proportions

I'd like to add that the shadow our burger buddy is casting probably doesn't need a stroke on it (thin as it may be). Still, this piece made me laugh! Nice job.

It's a very nice idea, but you left so many areas white, you need to go in and make sure that you don;t leave any blank areas on the woman or on the hamburger itself. Good luck!

I would ditch the burgers on the left and right hand sides and just go with the face. Its a great image, and I think focusing centrally on that would get you better scores/look more impressive. Nice job!

i'm really not sure about this one... it's a nice image, but the source itself really hasn;t been changed too much.. i suppose that isn;t the point. Myabe to make it more interesting put it as the name of a restaurant, or on a street sign or something.. i just lacks something, but i'm not too sure.

Love the idea, but the burgers should be separated a bit more. As it is, it looks like you are trying to form one letter with the two of them (instead of "oo", it looks like "v". Still, nice idea and I love the pepper "f"s. All the best!

Cute idea, but there it feels like this entry is only half done. Great job of cropping the burger out, though (it looks very clean). I'd adjust the shading and lighting on the burger to make it seem less "plopped" into the picture and more like a part of the image. Also, the dog isn't looking at the burger! Must not be very hungry. I'd adjust his/her gaze so that he is infatuated with the tasty treat that has been set before him (pretty simple to do through use of masking, liquify, clone/stamp, etc.). All in all a great idea! It just needs a little spit polish. Don't give up!
