zelo: whats the final image resolution? is it okay to not give the images sources? ( 2 years and 287 days ago )
spaceranger: @ zelo- This is a contest and like any contest there are rules. All the information needed is easily accessible by going to the Beginners Guide at http://www.pxleyes.com/courses/guide/ This contains all the information you need to learn about these contests.
The final maximum image size is given on the first page when you click on "submit image" and that is Max.: 5 MB / 3500x3500 pixels. Allowed image types: jpg, gif and png.
You can work in any size you wish but the final entry must be within the max size indicated. I work at 200pxl per inch at various dimensions depending on the composition and source image sizes usually no less than 12 inches by 12 inches or more. This allows me to see details clearly and will yield a good high res image once resized to within maximum allowed file size.
ALL sources used must be posted and links must show the image and the usage terms or license type for that image. This is all explained in the Beginners Guide and also in this forum topic: http://www.pxleyes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5644 ( 2 years and 286 days ago )
