Contest goal:

This year it is 1000 years since the viking King Forkbeard and his son Canute came to the English shores and drove out Ethelred the Unready. After a long effort at conquest, and shortly before his death, in 1013 King Forkbeard became the first of the Danish Kings of England. What more reason you'd like to have to honor these tough guys of the North with an own contest?! So start up wikipedia, read everything about the life, customs and culture of the Vikings and show your great interpretation of this wild bunch! One thing though: only a savage looking person doesn't automatically make a Viking, it has to be quite clear that we're dealing with Vikings. Good luck!
