@wazowski; yes I agree. I had the most trouble with the hand and monster. Barely met the deadline, so I had to stick with what I had.

@Drivenslush "Tilt shift" is 4 separate levels of blur, masked out over each other...I don't like the generic 'block' blur that is used by most.

Excellent work, nice color saturation for the "model effect". The soldiers still look like they're floating though, the ones aiming their rifles from up the hill, the soldiers on the level mown grass look solidly planted. One fix might be to add overlapping vegetation around their bases to give the illusion of touching the ground. Still, this one's my favourite. Reply »

@rsguetre... Yes, I agree. I had a real tough time trying to get the shadows on the marching doods and making them look grounded; I guess I was hoping the blur would help.

I don't know why I didn't think of cutting back the mask for grass on the others.
