author, I suggest you post a super large image of just the finished timepiece in the SBS, it would help in seeing the work done good image though.. GOOD LUCK!

to further enhance the watch..
suggest:
1. add a dab of sheen(shinny spot) for more glass-look
2. add a little sand grain on the glass (if prefered)

add more shadow for the creases to the curtains... the two faces of walls should have more contrast

Wild, and actually except for the background not going with the subject ( color wise . I like it.

Good idea -- Curtain on the left needs some adjustment to the lighting as it now has equal brightness across its width so it seem too flat --some dodge and burn would give it some depth

Also the bottom edge IMHO would look better if it was not cut off straight across
