My 1st attempt trying to do the cut-away effect. Made selection of pin with pen tool. Contracted selection 100 pixels.Made new layer with selection still active,filled with black. Selection still active,edit stroke inside,color sampled from pin. Duplicated black-filled layer then applied grain filter to simulate stars,blend mode of layer to screen. Duplicated black layer again filter render clouds, blend mode soft light. Duplicated black layer again filter render, lens flare, twice, blend mode screen. (5 years and 3408 days ago)
