Excellent lighting and great use of a unique idea. In the future, though, I would think about placing the ice chunk directly on top of the mirror. This will prevent us from seeing the "seam" where the mirror touches the ice (right now it looks a little cockeyed).

Just throw another light on the BG Author, or put a hot light on it and use a lower shutter speed. Put your flash on the arms then the flash will freeze any motion from the arms and the low shutter speed will burn in the bg making it blow out.

This picture and the others in the series mean a lot to me because we just got a new baby Jaguar!!! The series is of him and mama playing and he kept kickin her in the face and stuff. WAAAY funny!!! But my issue is that I couldn't get them in focus (still learning my DSLR with movement) AND I had just gotten my polarizer and forgot to take it off or even adjust it so the blue was at the top. SOOO that made all the white of them blue and they aren't in focus. I know I can fix the white but not sure if it will do any good with it being OOF. (5 years and 3053 days ago)

Is the camera under water for this shot?
Yes it was, but I suppose the high angle could lead to confusion. I replaced it with a lower angle of my subject to avoid any conflict. Enjoy!
This is a different shot. Much more obviously underwater. GL. (didn't know RAW files showed where the camera was)
