Anyone who looks at my work knows I favor Black and White for close up or macro shots. This, however, is an example where the color pretty much makes the picture. The age of the wood and the uniqueness of the grain would be somewhat lost if we didn't have color. So GREAT work, as always, author! All the best!

In the future though you may want to describe such things in the picture's description. It isn't required (unless specifically stated in the contest guidelines) but may help you get a better score from members who would be otherwise confused as to your meaning. All the best!
