Can you please share your camera settings.
Because of the poor light (candle lights) source you must have use a high ISO value or a small aperture number (F:1.8 or lower).
I don't see any digital noise in high resolution,that would be a result from a high ISO & the DOF (depth of field) is not shallow at all ( if small aperture number was used).

Night pics are my favorite so it wasent my first attempt to shoot with only a candle light for lighting.
And for the records lol i had my forst encouter with a photo camera last june a Canon rebel. But im hooked and since i shot over 15000 photos. I cary my cam everywhere i go even at work. My girlfriend thinks that im a bit crazy but i dont care all i think about is photography i read alot and shoot alot and try alot.

So...the exposure was 15 sec & your model didn't move at all ( i can't see any motion blur )???

Man... that must have been a GIGANTIC candle

Why is that? With the good settings you can take a shot and night and make it looks like a day shot .

Im the one who took that shot and i can assure you that it was a ordinary candle bought at ikea you know the ones that comes in a glass?

Ok here are the exact settings for that shot:
Iso 100 67mm F9,0 15.0s on a tripod

Now for people who thinks that i wasent only a candle just try it you will see. Have fun now
