I like this for the mood, it feels warm, calming ...a promise of a day yet to be born. The tree at the side gives nice sense of scale. Lovely.
Excellent with the sun and the colour on the water. The spiky tuft of grass and its mirror image are really good. I feel, however, that the middle ground between the tuft of grass and the far tree line is lost. I think it would be better all in sharp focus.

I am curious about what is growing all around the boardwalk?
Cattails... some call them bullrushes.
Looks a lot like Point Peely (sp?) south western Ontario. Nicely composed with good lead lines. Sharp through all the planes of the image. Good usage of dof!
Not Point Peely but I can see where one would think that. This is near Ottawa Ontario.
I knew it was Ottawa because of all the marijuana growing around the boardwalk!
