The woodlice was walking along the dog kennel which is situated in our back garden. (5 years and 2442 days ago)
I saw a lot of these as a child, now no longer find them here ... 
When I went to look in my back garden for some bugs, this woodlice was all I could find! I think all the other bugs must have been in hiding!

One morning I wandered to the local park, spring had arrived and there were thousands of wasps buzzing around looking for pollen.
Taken with a kit lens, Nikon D5000 and a magnifying filter. (5 years and 2442 days ago)
That's a bee, not a wasp.
Generally in the UK we would say wasp for anything that doesn't look like a bumblebee

Turban squash are a winter type squash, similar to Butternut squash, with a slightly "hazelnut" flavor. They are more known for their decorativeness, but make wonderful pies and soups. (5 years and 2457 days ago)
